Dec 12, 2006 - Eskimo Wins Australian Export Grant
Eskimo Industries, the Warriewood based manufacturer of Surfboard Foam, has secured an Export Grant from AusIndustry to further assist with the exporting and marketing of its foam globally. The grant was awarded on the basis of Eskimo's already strong export business to the US, Japan and Europe. Eskimo will use the funds to continue build the brand overseas.

Jan 14, 2007 - Adriano de Souza on Eskimo in Brazil
If you have been travelling down the main highways in Brazil, you might have seen a couple of big billboards with Adriano doing a big air. You can see his little Eskimo logo between the fins!! He has been loving the foam......and he had a great result in the Billabong World Juniors, coming second behind Jordy (who has also been riding Eskimo)!!

Eskimo guarantee
Eskimo is so confident in the quality of its product that a full guarantee is offered on all Blue-Lite Eskimo cores up to the final board sitting in the racks at retail. Eskimo will refund the shaper (in foam credit) the value of any core at the shaper's purchase price.

Eskimo will also refund any costs incurred (in foam credit) in cutting, shaping, glassing and filler coating if any significant bubbles or shrinkage in the core during these stages. We also guarantee the wholesale value of the board against unreasonable foam shrinkage whilst the board is at retail.

The Eskimo "powered by" laminate is the shaper's and the rider's guarantee that the board is constructed from a quality Eskimo core.

About us

Eskimo Industries was founded in 2002 by Anthony "Pado" Padovan and James "Chilli" Cheal in a small factory on the northern beaches of Sydney Australia, 5km away form North Narrabeen Beach. The company grew out of Pado and Chilli's strong friendship and their desire to formulate a performance driven polyurethane product tailored to the needs of professional shapers and surfers.

For over two years, Chilli and Pado experimented with formulations and manufacturing techniques to perfect the eksimo core.
